The evil decree was meant to wipe out the entire Jewish nation. They fasted and prayed for 3 day's including woman and children in the city of Shushan. It's in their merit we still exist today. This painting is symbolic to a battle of spiritual strength that brought Am Yisrael's salvation. The jewish people rode the horses in place of their enemy. The decree turned around 350 degrees back firing the plot on to who'm it came from.
