"ASCENDING FROM THE GROUND TO HEAVEN"
My intention was to create something modern, bold & minimal. I decided to narrate the dream of our Patriarch Jacob. The ladder ascending from the earth to the heavens.
"And, behold, God stood above him (or above it), and said, 'I am the Lord, the God of Avraham your father, and the God of Yitzchak. The land on which you lie, to you will I give it, and to your descendents."(Bereishit 28:5)
. The stars and the sand are symbolic to the blessing that God already gave to Abraham Avinu that Am Yisrael will be like the stars of the sky and the sand of the earth.
I did not put Angels in this particular artwork. Angels are spiritual and we cannot see them. Though they are with us all the time.
